What it is used for
Severe inflammation (non-infectious) of the eye, such as acute iritis, iridocyclitis, scleritis, episcleritis, uveitis, resistant ocular allergy and inflammation following surgery (where no infectious aetiology is suspected), particularly where unusually rapid control of the inflammation is required.
