What it is used for
For the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. Bicalutamide is also indicated for the prevention of disease flare associated with initial goserelin treatment
How to take it
This medicine is a pack that contains more than one part.
Part 1: Implant
White to cream-coloured cylindrical pieces of rigid polymeric material.
The way to take this medicine is: Subcutaneous. This medicine is injected, usually with a short needle or pen-like device, into the fat just beneath the skin.
Part 2: Tablet, film coated
Round, biconvex, white film-coated tablet, with impression “cdx50” on one side and an arrow shaped logo on the other side.
The way to take this medicine is: Oral. This medicine is taken by mouth.
